It feels like yesterday when in December 1986 I started my dream to bring the best treatments available to clients from near and far. Over the time some treatments have changed, therapists have changed but the ideal stands strong, to give the best possible care and the very best value for your hard earned money.
At ambers the team follow in my ideals and to help with your budget we have a tiered pricing system. All of our therapists are fully qualified but the length of their experience will vary. We therefore offer a treatment pricing scale from therapist to senior therapist to manageress to me!
I passionately believe that to get and give the most in life it is vital to take care of ourselves. The one person we often forget! There is nothing to beat that feeling of confidence when we have improved some small part of ourselves: be it having our eyebrows professionally shaped, removing unwanted hair, reducing facial lines or removing thread veins. You can call on 01442 248002 or now you can book on line with our fabulous new Shortcuts Book Me system. We usually confirm appointments via text now which helps as a reminder. Please just reply via text so we know you will definitely be visiting us.

You could surprise a special friend, treat a fabulous family member or show appreciation to a wonderful work colleague with one of our gift vouchers. It’s such a perfect present and the recipient can book the specific treatment of his or her choice. Just ask a member of staff for details when you visit for your treatment or call the studio and of course now you can buy on line and everything will be arranged for you.
Parking is available at the front of the Studio. It is free and usually very easy. Disabled parking spaces are available and if you need any extra assistance please call in advance and we are more than happy to help.
Spa Etiquette
On arrival to the studio may we ask you to keep noise to a minimum as there are treatments in progress throughout the day.
mobile phones: to ensure total comfort and relaxation within our studio facilities, please ensure your mobile phone is turned off.
booking: it is necessary for you to either telephone or visit the studio to make a reservation.
arrival time: we would recommend that you arrive ten minutes before your scheduled treatment time, giving you time to relax and fill out our consultation form.
late arrivals: we understand that things do happen and time runs short. The time that you spend with us will ensure optimum results, but as a courtesy to other clients your treatment will finish on time.
cancellation policy: we understand that sometimes you need to change your appointment. We kindly ask for 24hours notice (or 48 hours for treatments longer than 11/2 hours) as someone else may wish to be scheduled in from our waiting list. If no notice is given a fee will be incurred.
gift vouchers/courses: are available and are valid for 6 months from purchase date.
comfort: it is your time and we want you to enjoy your treatment experience to the fullest. Whether it is room temperature, the amount of massage pressure or the volume of music, just tell us.
what to wear: casual attire is best, robes can be provided if required. Jewellery and valuables should not be brought to the studio. During your treatment our therapists are trained to drape sarongs discreetly over areas of the body not involved with the treatment to protect your privacy at all times.
children: due to Health and Safety Regulations and insurance coverage it is not permissible for young children under the age of 13 to accompany you in the studio and treatment rooms. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.
